Apart from its effect on patient’s physical appearance; it shortens the period of time the patient should rest, lessens the pain and decreases the risk of infection. In this workshop, participants will have a chance to observe a gallbladder operation that is going to be applied with laparoscopy technique. While experiencing the

operation on the screen, participants will be able to watch the localization of surgical instruments on a module in which patient’s abdomen is simulated. During the workshop, Volkan Ozben MD who is well-experienced on the subject not only in Turkey but also abroad, will accompany the participants and explain the proper use of this module.
